The founders of the nation’s fateful facility – the Rogun hydroelectric power plant, in honor of the 27th anniversary of the state independence of the Republic of Tajikistan and the implementation of the valuable instructions and orders of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan regarding the production of the first electricity of the Rogun power plant, are expanding the work.
For this purpose, all technical and intellectual resources are used effectively.
In June, pre-contractual works and works related to LOTs 3 and 4 were completed in the amount of 232.2 million somoni, of which 200.9 million somoni were construction and assembly works.
In June, a total of 18,427.1 tons of cement were transported and used for construction.
35 154 m3 of concrete mix and solution, 42 370 m3 of inert materials were produced for the needs of construction facilities, taking into account LOT 2.
Currently, 21,135 workers and engineering and technical workers, including 1,549 employees of the “Salini Imprejilo” company, (209 foreign, 1,340 domestic) work in two shifts and 24-hour shifts. The number of machines and mechanisms has reached 3,409 units.
Practical measures are being taken in order to provide construction facilities with projects and budgets on time.

In the ST-2 construction tunnel, the pre-contractual construction works have also been completed.
In the passage section of the ST-2 construction tunnel, which is included in the scope of works of LOT 2, anchoring works, reinforcement of walls and concrete laying have been completed, painting of roof forms and reinforcement of the roof section is ongoing.

Construction and assembly works are also ongoing in the ST-3 construction tunnel. The tunneling of the main structure has been completed, and the excavation of the vertical shaft and access tunnels is ongoing.
The monthly average volume of iron ore, including the iron sheets assembled and installed in this facility, is 216 tons, and this indicator has reached a total of 9,074 tons since the beginning of the construction works of this tunnel.
At the exit of the ST-3 tunnel, earthworks are carried out according to the project by the contracting companies “Ormi Rohi Korun” and “Elitstroy”.

Implementation of construction and installation works, drilling of wells for laying anchors of AJG, as well as cementing works in the Hall of Machines and the building of transformers is expanding.
According to the contract and in accordance with the general construction schedule, the assembly and installation of hydro-turbine equipment by the consortium specialists of JSP “Baltik-SGEM-Komplekt” and JSC “TojikSGEM” with the participation of specialists of the Russian Federation and domestic specialists are ongoing.
The assembly work of rotor and stator of hydrogen generator No. 6 has been completed and passed high-voltage electrical tests. The stator of hydrogenerator No. 6 is ready for transfer to the crater of hydrounit No. 6.

According to the contract with the “Turboatom” plant of the Republic of Ukraine, the work on the regulatory system (Sistema régulatorynie) is being completed.
The concreting around the knee and suction pipe of turbine No. 5 has been completed, and at the level of 956 m, 12 iron supports with a thickness of 325 mm have been installed to place the turbine stator on it, and reinforced around them for the stability of the supports. The turbine stator was assembled and installed in crater No. 5. The installation of the spiral chamber in the mentioned crater was completed and hydraulic testing was carried out.

In the roof and walls of the transformer building, installation of anchors in the area of units #4 to #6 and installation of reinforced concrete beams has been completed.
Construction works in the technological-production building and the KRUE building are ongoing according to the plan.

Installation works of KRUE equipment started on February 9, 2018. To date, all the parts of the internal equipment of KRUE-220 kV have been brought into the building and installed.
To date, 217 out of 218 vehicles equipped with KRUE have been delivered to the Customer’s warehouses. Of these, 9 vehicles are equipped with 220kV KRUE equipment and 208 are 500kV KRUE equipment. The delivery of the remaining electrical equipment from the manufacturing plant is nearing completion.
In the field of external equipment, concrete laying of the foundations of the exit portal of 500 kV has been completed. In the section of the 500kV outlet, 13 supports under the externally installed equipment have been completed, and concrete laying works are ongoing.
According to the project, the T-9 and T-9I transport tunnels, including both branches, are 724 meters long. Excavation of these tunnels has been completed and concrete works are ongoing.
Transport tunnel T-23IIA and T-23II, which connects the main road from the right bank to the edge of the Dam, has been excavated in the volume of 84,347 m3.

Excavation works of access tunnels T18v, T18s and T-18D have been completed, and tunneling works are ongoing in access tunnels T18a.
The construction of transport roads from the entrance of transport tunnel T-4 to the entrance of transport tunnel T-18 and from T-18 to T-9, the road from concrete plant No. 1 to bridge “Zh”, vertical shaft and the main ventilation tunnel are in progress according to the plan.
Along with other structures of the Army, the construction work of the builders continues at the site of the construction of the Dam.
The “Salini Imprejilo” company is continuing the pouring and filling of the Dam material in the parts of the left and right banks and the Bief river above Peshdarghot in order to expand and raise it to the level of 1065 meters.
