On February 7, 2023, the Vice President of the Islamic Development Bank for Operations, Dr. Mansur Mukhtar, visited the facilities of the Rogun Hydroelectric Power Plant as part of his official visit to Tajikistan.
The guests and their accompanying staff were welcomed and received by the General Director of the Company, Khairullo Safarzoda, and the responsible employees of the Company.
In the meeting hall of the Society, a meeting was held with the guests and their companions regarding the Rogun Power Plant project, the actual progress of works in the facility and other issues related to the construction. During the conversation, the general director of the power plant introduced the guests to the specifications of the unique “Rogun” project.
Then the guests and their companions got a closer look at the construction facilities of the power plant, including the construction tunnel of the 4th layer, the dam, the permanent water intake, the water supply tunnels of units 1-6, the exit of the construction tunnel of the 3rd layer, the machine hall, etc.
The guests were accompanied by the Minister of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan Zavqizoda Zavqi Amin.
